007: First Light just dropped its first major expansion pack, and if you’ve already dived into the “Extended Operations” DLC, you know the developers aren’t pulling any punches. Tucked under the Tactical Simulations tab in the main menu (under the Operations category), Jungle Heist drops Bond right back into Vietnam—revisiting the gorgeous, razor-sharp estate from Chapter 8’s campaign mission.
While the setting might look familiar, the mission mechanics will test your patience: heavy RNG element spawns, roving patrols, and a relentless lockdown phase. Here is how to conquer the randomness, slip past security undetected, and extract with clean hands.
Phase 1: Track Down the Signal (Don’t Fear the Restart)
Your first objective is tracking down an encrypted ping from a distant guard. Check the radar on the lower-left corner of your HUD: follow the pulsing blue ripples until your objective tag locks onto a specific patroller. Once identified, shadow them in close proximity while your tech automatically breaches their device up to 100%.
- The Spawn Locations: The target guard is completely randomized. They can wander near the luxury pool, patrol outside the second-floor balcony, pace around inside the villa, or even spawn among the initial perimeter guards you cross right out of the gate.
- Pro-Tip on the Pool Spawn: If the ping leads directly to the pool area, hit restart immediately. The poolside offers virtually zero vertical cover or soft concealment, turning an otherwise smooth breach into an unnecessary firefight. Rerolling the spawn takes five seconds and saves five minutes of frustration.
Phase 2: Infiltrate and Snag the Safe Combination
Regardless of where your signal target roams, you always spawn crouched in the perimeter foliage outside the villa.
- Hug the right flank through the brush until you reach the elevated rock ledge overlooking the patio stairs.
- Mantle up, slide along the glass railing to breach the interior, and keep a sharp eye out for external security cameras scanning the perimeter.
- Once you complete the proximity hack undetected, the safe combination uploads to your datapad. Keep in mind: the code is procedurally generated on every run, so there’s no brute-forcing or looking up answers online.
Phase 3: Crack the Safe & Grab the Dossier
Your second objective keeps the procedural theme rolling. The safe’s location shifts between runs, though it is guaranteed to spawn somewhere inside the villa—typically split between the ground-floor office suites and the upper-level living quarters.
Track the objective marker, isolate and silently take down nearby roaming sentries, and clear the room before interacting with the safe door. Grabbing the documents immediately triggers the next phase, so clear your exit paths before you turn the dial.
Phase 4: Lockdown, Card Hunt, and Overriding the Grid
The second Bond lifts the documents, the villa goes on full lockdown. Sirens blare, blast shutters drop over major doors, and guards swarm into aggressive search patterns.
- The Keycard Guard: One of the interior sentries holds the override keycard. This target is marked on your HUD, but their spawn is random among the guards who have already breached the interior rooms. Neutralize them cleanly—a suppressed headshot or a close-quarters takedown works best before their backup converges.
- Lifting the Lockdown: Take the keycard to any of the roller shutter control panels scattered around the perimeter halls. Unlike the guards, these panel locations are fixed. Pick the panel with the least foot traffic, swipe the card, and open the escape routes.
Phase 5: The Rooftop Extraction
The good news? The extraction point never moves: it is always located at the central rooftop terminal. The bad news? It features the densest concentration of high-alert sentries on the map.

- The Route: Head up the central interior stairs to the second floor, pivot toward the bar area, pass through the wide double doors, and swing left to locate the exterior terrace exit.
- Handling the Stairwell Guard: Right outside sits an iron staircase leading up to the roof. One sentry paces the base of these stairs, monitored by two sharpshooters on a distant balcony ledge. Do not rush a takedown here; wait until the sentry paces left of the doorframe, then slip past his blind spot and mount the stairs on the right.
- Navigating the High Ground: Two guards patrol the top landing. Pause near the top lip of the stairwell until their patrol lines cross and face away. Stay crouched, slip around the exterior corner, and use the long industrial ventilation ducts for line-of-sight cover.
- The Final Sprint: Transition from the ductwork directly into the decorative rooftop shrubs. Inch toward the rooftop center, silence any isolated sentry that threatens your route, and access the laptop console.
Combat Rule: Bond may hold a license to kill, but the extraction terminal locks out the moment active combat initiates. If you break stealth on the roof, you cannot simply slap the button and end the mission—you must eliminate every alerted hostile in the immediate vicinity before the console unlocks.
