Microsoft has officially revealed the second wave of additions for Xbox Game Pass October 2026. Leading the charge is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, making its subscription debut after arriving on Xbox consoles earlier this year. However, Square Enix’s acclaimed RPG is not the only standout title joining the service this month.
Subscribers can also dive into Séance at Blake Manor, one of last year’s most creative detective mystery titles. Set in 1897 Ireland, the game tasks players with investigating a missing woman inside an eerie, isolated hotel. Unlike traditional narrative adventure games, it features a fully explorable 3D environment with a strict in-game clock where every deduction drains remaining time. Visually reminiscent of Blue Prince with the deductive complexity of Return of the Obra Dinn, it stands as a hidden gem for puzzle enthusiasts.

Why Final Fantasy 7 Matters for Xbox Subscribers
The arrival of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade serves two crucial purposes. First, it caps off an ambitious year for the franchise on Xbox platforms, following the earlier arrival of the Pixel Remaster series. Second, it gives subscribers a risk-free chance to play one of the defining modern action-RPGs ahead of upcoming franchise milestones.

Beyond Midgar, the psychological horror title Mouthwashing and the nostalgia-driven Plants vs. Zombies: Remastered provide varied palette cleansers. Meanwhile, The Elder Scrolls Online also expands this week with its “Echoes of Skyrim” update on October 21, adding two solo challenge dungeons.
Games Leaving Game Pass on October 31
As new titles arrive, two beloved adventure games will exit the catalog at the end of the month. Following Double Fine Productions’ transition earlier this year, both Grim Fandango Remastered and Day of the Tentacle Remastered will leave Xbox Game Pass on October 31. Subscribers wishing to keep them in their permanent library can claim their standard 20% membership discount before departure.
